On arrival in Kochi, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon you can take explore some of the cities attractions including St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Post-breakfast you will be transferred to Munnar, the first destination in the Splendor of Kerala tour after Kochi. This quaint hill station is the only one in the entire state of Kerala and offers elegant views to be remembered. On arrival here you will check-in at your hotel and you commence your sojourn across the hilly terrains of Munnar. Overnight stay in your hotel.
In the morning you can explore the beauty of Munnar by visiting the various attractions that are located here. A visit to the coffee and rubber plantations here can also be enjoyed on this day. In the evening return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
From Munnar you will travel to Periyar on the 4th day of the sojourn. On arrival here you can check into your hotel for some rest and relaxation. In the afternoon you will take a tour across the spice plantations in the area. In the evening return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
On the 5th day of the Splendor of Kerala tour you will travel across the Periyar sanctuary and take a boat safari. Later you will proceed towards Kumarakom. On reaching the town you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. In the evening enjoy a sunset boat cruise while the local artists will put up a spectacular musical show. In the evening return to your hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast you will embark on an early morning trip across the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Later in the afternoon you will travel down to Kottayam to enjoy a traditional boat (catamaran) ride. The overnight cruise will conclude in Alleppey in the following morning.
After breakfast on the 7th day of the trip, you will travel down from Alleppey to Kovalam. On arrival in this beach town, you can check into your hotel and then head towards the beach. While here there are many adventure sports activities such as kayaking, surfing, and skiing besides swimming to take part in. One can also view the coral reefs and enjoy tropical cuisine while being in Kovalam. In the evening return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
