Detail Itinerary

Arrive at the Safdarjung Railway Station to begin your Treasures of India tour. After a traditional Indian welcome, complete your registration formalities and get ushered to your cabins. Savour your delicious brunch on-board as Maharajas' Express proceeds towards Agra.

Arrive at the city of love, Agra. Get off board to visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. The icon of love is one of the star attractions of your vacation in India. Get back to enjoy the comfort of Maharajas' Express or you can opt to attend Mohabbat- The Taj Show or visit Itmad–Ud–Daula, known as the Baby Taj or take up a Spa session at a 5-star hotel.

Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay.

De-board the train early morning for a visit to the Agra Fort or optional visit to Itmad-Ud-Daula. Get back to your world of luxuries, Maharajas' Express for breakfast.

The train arrives in Sawai Madhopur as you enjoy lunch on-board. Get off the train for a thrilling safari in the Ranthambore National Park. The former game sanctuary is blessed with wildlife especially, royal Bengal tigers.

Return to Maharajas' Express. Treat your taste buds with lip-smacking dinner as the train makes way for next stop, Jaipur.

Arrive to Jaipur as you treat yourself to delicious breakfast on board.

Disembark the train to visit Amer Fort, the royal fort situated in the outskirts of Jaipur city. Next, visit the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar). There are optional activities such as Spa facilities at a Palace hotel, where you can pamper yourself to therapies and traditional hospitality. Private shopping tour or a golf session at Rambagh Golf club are also available at request.

Return to the train for a hearty lunch. Later, you could take one of the optional activities. Embark on sightseeing tour of the City Palace. Or, visit the Jai Mahal for elephant activities that will include feeding them, decorating them or take a ride on them.

In the evening get ready for cultural experience of folk music, dance and art. Attend a Kalbeliya dance performance by local artists followed by an extravagant traditional dinner.

Overnight stay aboard Maharajas' Express.

Bid adieu to Maharajas' Express Treasure of India tour. Post breakfast, disembark the train to proceed on your onward journey.

  • Please note all bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

Exclusions
  • Any optional tours as mentioned in the itinerary
  • Taxes, insurance, gratuities, telephone calls, laundry
  • Alcoholic beverages (apart from the house brands)
  • Video, film and professional still camera fees and arrival and departure transfers
  • International and domestic air tickets
  • Pre and post tour accommodation
  • Any tour extensions unless specifically mentioned as part of the journeys

Payment
  • Pay 25% of tour cost at least 90 days or more prior to departure date and pay remaining amount 60 days prior to departure date.
  • Pay 100% of the tour cost if you are booking 59 days prior to departure date.
  • You will have to pay all bank charges.
  • The prevailing rate of exchange on the date of transaction would be applicable
Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy that is followed by the train is as:

  • 60 days or more prior to departure, 25% of published price.
  • 45 to 59 days prior to departure, 50% of the published price.
  • 0 to 44 days prior to departure, 100% of the published price.
